For more than two decades the Dark Zone owned October in Brandon, its corridors raising funds to fight child abuse and human trafficking. A 2024 fire reduced the haunt to ash just weeks before its 23rd season, scattering years of props and labor. The Exchange Club has vowed to build back bigger.
