Make any fog machine lay a low, creeping carpet across the lawn for the cost of a cooler and a length of dryer duct.

The Build
- 01
Cut the ports
Cut an inlet hole on one end sized to your fogger's nozzle and an outlet on the opposite end for the duct. Keep them low and opposite so fog travels through the ice.

Build the ice rack
Suspend a wire shelf across the middle so ice sits above the airflow and the fog has to weave through the cold. Meltwater drains to the bottom, away from the path.

Seal and run
Foil-tape the seams, load it with ice, point the fogger in, and watch the haze pour out heavy and low instead of rising.
Safety First
Drain meltwater away from electrical connections, and never seal the cooler fully — fog needs somewhere to go or pressure builds.
