The premise
Rumors of demonic possession at a religious convent prompts a church investigation into the strange goings-on among its nuns. A disaffected priest and his neophyte are confronted with temptation, bloodshed and a crisis of faith.

When whispers of demonic possession begin circulating inside a cloistered convent, the Church dispatches a weary priest and his eager apprentice to investigate. What they find defies easy answers, blurring the line between genuine supernatural evil and the very human fractures hidden beneath habits and holy vows. Agnes is less a straightforward exorcism film and more a brooding meditation on faith tested to its breaking point. Expect unease that lingers long after the credits roll.
