Thrust into the bustle of modern-day Cartagena, she must quickly learn the rules of a world centuries removed from her own — all while her powers remain her greatest asset and her most dangerous secret. Ancient rivalries don't stay buried in the past, and a formidable dark force threatens to unravel everything she's risked. Equal parts romantic adventure and supernatural thriller, the series blends Colombian history and folklore into a fast-moving fantasy.
