The premise
A cruel circus owner beats and abuses his pregnant wife. One day the circus receives a leopard newly captured in Africa, but the animal soon dies. However, an evil creature that was inside the leopard bursts out of the animal's body, burrows into the wife's body and takes over her fetus. It soon starts demanding blood, and the woman goes searching for victims for her new "baby."

A downtrodden woman trapped in a brutal circus life finds her world upended when a parasitic creature of mysterious origin takes up residence within her, forging a grotesque bond she never asked for. What follows is a blood-soaked odyssey across France as she becomes both hunter and hunted, driven by the insatiable hunger of the thing growing inside her. French extreme horror at its rawest, Baby Blood revels in practical gore while smuggling in a darkly twisted portrait of a woman reclaiming agency on her own savage terms.
