Two women on the run from trouble turn to an old friend for shelter inside her sprawling, decaying mansion — but sanctuary comes at a steep price. Their host demands they submit to the rules of an immersive, twisted fantasy world she has constructed and refuses to leave behind. What begins as desperate accommodation escalates into something far more sinister as the lines between game and genuine threat dissolve entirely. Braid is a fever-dream descent into the mind of someone for whom make-believe has become the only reality.
