A man with gaps in his memory takes what seems like a simple caretaking job on a desolate island, only to find himself trapped in an increasingly dangerous situation with a deeply disturbed woman. The crumbling, abandoned house becomes a pressure cooker of paranoia as neither the caretaker nor his charge can be fully trusted — or fully understood. Irish filmmaker Damian McCarthy crafts a slow-burn chamber horror that relies on atmosphere and dread rather than cheap shocks, squeezing unbearable tension from confined spaces and fractured minds.
