A young American drifting through South America finds himself drawn into a decaying community of outcasts who have made their home inside the crumbling walls of a long-abandoned hospital. The building's shadowed corridors and troubled history begin to press in on its inhabitants in ways both human and harder to explain. What starts as an unlikely refuge slowly reveals itself to be something far more threatening — and escaping may prove easier said than done.
