The premise
Vampires are among us! But no need to worry: the Hungarian Secret Police are after them, and beyond the usual spy gadgets, they even use garlic to repel the beasts.

Behind the iron curtain, vampires have quietly embedded themselves in everyday Hungarian society — and the Secret Police are the only ones standing between the population and the night. Armed with classified gadgets and a generous supply of garlic, a team of state agents pursues the undead with all the absurd efficiency of a communist bureaucracy. Comrade Drakulich blends Cold War atmosphere with vampire mythology for a genre mash-up that leans hard into deadpan comedy. Fans of Eastern European dark humour will find plenty to sink their teeth into.
