The premise
In the future, a health nut and his tag-along girlfriend become trapped in a drive-in theater that has become a concentration camp for outcast youths.

In a near-future Australia gone to rot, a night at the drive-in turns into a nightmare when a young couple find themselves locked inside a rundown cinema that doubles as a government-sanctioned cage for society's unwanted. Surrounded by electric fences and fellow prisoners who've made uneasy peace with their confinement, the couple must decide whether to fight the system or surrender to it. Brian Trenchard-Smith's cult oddity uses the drive-in setting as a sharp, low-budget lens on conformity, control, and the seductive comfort of captivity.
