When a flight between Los Angeles and Shanghai goes catastrophically wrong, a diverse group of passengers finds themselves stranded in open ocean aboard a rapidly sinking aircraft. With sharks circling the wreckage and rising water closing in, strangers with little in common must put aside their differences and work together to have any chance of survival. The film ratchets up the tension by trapping its characters between two equally lethal threats — the depths below and the predators within them. Expect relentless pressure and few moments to breathe.
