The premise

Dexter Morgan, a blood spatter pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police also leads a secret life as a serial killer, hunting down criminals who have slipped through the cracks of justice.

This neo-noir series burrows deep into the mind of a killer who believes he channels his darkest impulses for good, forcing viewers to question where justice ends and monstrosity begins. Equal parts procedural and character study, it's a slow-burn portrait of a man permanently straddling two worlds.
