The premise
A woman will go to whatever lengths necessary to obtain her dream home with a view of the sea. This includes driving down the property value and decreasing the occupancy rate by killing her potential neighbors.

Set against the backdrop of Hong Kong's cutthroat real estate market, Dream Home follows a young woman whose single-minded desire for the perfect harbour-view apartment pushes her far beyond the boundaries of sanity or morality. Told in a fractured, non-linear structure, the film interweaves her gruelling working-class struggles with an escalating, viscerally violent killing spree that serves as her twisted solution to a housing problem. Director Pang Ho-Cheung delivers a razor-sharp critique of capitalism and social pressure wrapped inside an extraordinarily gory slasher package. It is equal parts savage satire and relentless bloodbath.
