The premise
"Big Guts" Cheung, a man well known in his local village for his lack of fear, is put to the test after being tricked into spending the night in a temple full of spirits, zombies, and vampires.
Horror Vault's take
A boastful village tough guy infamous for his fearlessness gets more than he bargained for when a cruel dare sends him alone into a haunted temple crawling with restless spirits and worse. This Hong Kong genre mashup blends frenetic martial arts choreography with supernatural horror and broad comedy in a way few films dare to attempt. Sammo Hung leads the charge both in front of and behind the camera, delivering kinetic action sequences wrapped in genuine ghostly menace.
