When their car gets stranded in the remote Irish countryside, a couple's quiet getaway turns into a desperate fight for survival. Something ancient and predatory lurks in the surrounding dark, and with night closing in, every source of light becomes the difference between life and death. Director Conor McMahon strips the horror down to its barest, most primal elements — two people, one monster, and the unrelenting dark. It's a lean, suffocating creature feature that makes the most of its rural Irish setting.
