Deep in the Serbian wilderness, a fracking operation disturbs far more than the earth when the drilling crew inadvertently awakens something monstrous that has lain dormant inside a centuries-old corpse. What emerges is a creature in a vulnerable — and extraordinarily dangerous — state, driven by a primal biological imperative that puts every man on the site in its crosshairs. Directors Toby Poser and John Adams bring their indie sensibility to a remote, claustrophobic nightmare where heavy machinery offers little protection against something that predates modern civilization. Escape routes are few, and the creature's needs are horrifyingly intimate.
