The premise
Shy college student Cassie Hughes only wants to be accepted by others, but is only truly loved by her best friend Thelma Bates. Cassie later discovers that she possesses dangerous powers, and is being drawn into a world far beyond her control. And the man that she should fear the most manages to find a way into her heart.

Set against the gothic backdrop of a British boarding school, Hex follows Cassie Hughes, a quietly outcast student whose longing to belong takes a dangerous turn when she uncovers a sinister supernatural heritage. As her hidden powers begin to surface, she finds herself pursued by a seductive and deeply threatening presence she cannot easily resist. Her devoted best friend Thelma remains her anchor as Cassie is pulled deeper into a world of dark forces and perilous desire. Equal parts supernatural romance and occult drama, the series blends teenage angst with genuinely unsettling imagery.
