The premise

When her brother vanishes after visiting a remote, legend-shrouded location known as Howling Village, a young psychologist is drawn into an investigation that cuts closer to home than she ever expected. Steeped in Japanese folklore and rural dread, the film peels back layers of her family's buried history with each unsettling discovery. Howling Village blends ghostly terror with occult mystery, building an atmosphere of creeping inevitability as its protagonist edges toward a truth she may not be able to survive.
