The premise
Isao Komori is a college dropout who spends his days cooped up in his apartment playing video games. The highlight of his day is visiting a convenience store where an angel-like high-school girl called Mari visits every night. One morning Komori wakes up in Mari's body. Another "Komori" inhabits his old body, and Mari has disappeared. Komori struggles to maintain Mari's ordinary life and starts to investigate Mari's disappearance.

A directionless college dropout fixated on a convenience-store girl he barely knows wakes one morning to find himself inexplicably inhabiting her body — while someone else seems to have taken over his own. Trapped in a stranger's life, he must navigate her school, her relationships, and her secrets just to keep her world from unraveling. The deeper he digs into her disappearance, the more uncomfortable questions begin to surface about who he really is and what he truly wanted. This quietly unsettling drama blurs the line between mystery and psychological character study.
