The premise

When their bus is crippled on the side of a deserted road, a team of high school athletes discover an opponent they cannot defeat – and may not survive.

Horror Vault's take

A championship-bound busload of high school athletes finds itself stranded on a remote stretch of highway with nowhere to run and no help in sight. Something ancient and predatory is circling the disabled vehicle, and it has no intention of letting them reach morning. Meanwhile, a grieving father nearby sets out on his own collision course with the creature. This sequel doubles down on the monster's screen time, trading mystery for sheer relentless menace.
