This Japanese limited series follows a paranormal researcher whose fixation on that dwelling pulls him deeper into a spiral of tragedy spanning decades. Told across the Shōwa era, Origins strips the curse back to its rawest, most human form — and what it uncovers is far grimmer than any ghost story. Expect slow-burn dread rooted firmly in real-world darkness as much as the supernatural.
