An oil company's reckless drilling operation thaws out something far worse than an environmental headache — a colossal prehistoric shark that hasn't had a meal in millions of years. Two very different groups, art thieves and college students, find themselves stranded together on an isolated island with the ancient predator circling the waters between them and freedom. Low-budget creature feature mayhem ensues as the unlikely survivors must set aside their differences just to stay alive. Think Jaws crossed with a bargain-bin thriller and dialed all the way up to absurd.
