The premise
FBI Agent Lee Harker is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer. As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.

A young FBI agent with an uncanny instinct for the criminal mind is pulled into a decades-old murder investigation that has baffled law enforcement — a trail of slaughtered families and cryptic messages left by a killer who seems to operate beyond ordinary logic. As she digs deeper into the case, evidence of occult ritual and satanic obsession surfaces, and the investigation begins to feel disturbingly personal. Director Osgood Perkins crafts a slow-burn nightmare soaked in 1990s Pacific Northwest atmosphere, anchored by a wildly committed Nicolas Cage performance that has to be seen to be believed.
