Set against a backdrop of crushing poverty, this Thai horror follows a woman who finds a grim solution to her financial woes by opening a restaurant with a very dark secret ingredient. What begins as a tale of desperation quickly descends into a relentless cycle of predation and bloodshed. The film leans hard into visceral shock, delivering the kind of transgressive gore that pushes well past mainstream horror boundaries. Fans of extreme Asian cinema will find a lot to chew on here.
