The premise
At a seedy theater in a sleepy suburban town, a group of friends get together for a midnight screening of an early 1970s horror film, unaware that the director has something more in store for them.

A late-night screening at a rundown suburban theater turns deadly when a group of friends settle in to watch a forgotten 1970s horror film. What begins as a campy cult experience quickly spirals into something far more sinister, as the line between what's on screen and what's happening in the theater begins to dissolve. The killer in the film seems to have designs on the audience themselves, and escape may not be as simple as walking out the door.
