The premise
Yumi, a writer of a science magazine, witnesses a mysterious death of a high school girl who received a "one missed call" from her own cell phone, two weeks in the future. The disturbing message on the cell phone turns out to be the screams of the victim.

When a young woman dies under impossible circumstances — her final screams recorded on her own phone two weeks before her death — a science journalist finds herself drawn into a chilling investigation she cannot ignore. The cursed calls keep coming, each one a death sentence delivered in the victim's own voice from a future that seems locked in place. This Japanese TV series expands the supernatural dread of its source material into a slow-burn mystery, weaving detective procedural elements with deeply unsettling folklore-tinged horror. The closer the truth gets, the more dangerous the search becomes.
