When a scuba diving excursion goes catastrophically wrong, a couple find themselves abandoned in the open ocean with no rescue in sight. Stranded miles from shore with nothing but endless water around them, their greatest threat may not be each other's fraying nerves — it's what's circling silently beneath the surface. Shot with raw, documentary-like intimacy, this low-budget thriller draws its horror from brutal plausibility rather than spectacle. Few films make the ocean feel this vast, this lonely, and this dangerous.
