The premise

Pin, a plastic medical dummy, has been the fixation of Leon since youth. Now grown up and orphaned in an accident, Leon brings Pin home to live with him and his sister Ursula, much to her reluctance. Soon, however, Leon's fixation on Pin spirals out of control, and Ursula must face the devastating consequences.

Horror Vault's take

When Leon and his sister Ursula are left orphaned, Leon insists on bringing home a most unusual companion — Pin, a life-size anatomical dummy that has haunted his imagination since childhood. What begins as an eccentric coping mechanism quietly curdles into something far more dangerous, as Leon's grip on reality grows increasingly fragile. Ursula watches helplessly as her brother's devotion to the inanimate figure tightens into an obsession that threatens everything around them. This understated Canadian chiller builds its dread from psychology rather than spectacle, proving that the most frightening monsters can be entirely human.
