Horror Vault's take

In the waning years of the Vietnam War, a South Korean military unit is dispatched to a remote, fog-shrouded location known as R-Point to investigate an impossible radio signal from soldiers long thought dead. What begins as a search-and-rescue mission steadily unravels into something far more sinister as the jungle itself seems to resist their presence. The film blurs the line between the horrors of combat and something ancient and vengeful lurking in the landscape. Few war-horror hybrids sustain this level of creeping, suffocating dread.
