The premise
An undocumented Filipina immigrant lands a job as a careworker for a seemingly terminal old man, securing a better life for her and her daughter. But a dark discovery threatens to destroy everything she’s strived for and holds dear.
Horror Vault's take
A Filipina mother without legal status takes a live-in caregiving post for a wealthy, bedridden Englishman, hoping to carve out stability for herself and her young daughter in an unwelcoming country. The grand, isolating house harbors more than old money and decay — beneath the surface of duty and dependence lies something deeply, dangerously wrong. As the daughter grows restless and curious, the precarious safety her mother has fought so hard to build begins to fracture. Raging Grace is a slow-burning thriller that weaponises the anxieties of the unseen and the unprotected.
