In the neon-drenched underbelly of Mumbai, a calculating serial killer models himself on a legendary 1960s psychopath, leaving a trail of brutal murders through the city's slums. Hot on his trail is a drug-addled, morally bankrupt cop whose own darkness may run deeper than he admits. What begins as a hunt quickly blurs into something far more disturbing as the line between hunter and hunted dissolves. Director Anurag Kashyap crafts a visceral descent into the city's shadows where no one's hands stay clean.
