The premise
During a power outage, two strangers tell scary stories. The more Fred and Fanny commit to their tales, the more the stories come to life in the dark of a Catskills cabin. The horrors of reality manifest when Fred confronts his ultimate fear: Fanny is the better storyteller.

Stranded together during a power outage at a remote Catskills cabin, two writers — one struggling, one successful — decide to pass the time by trading scary stories out loud. What begins as playful one-upmanship slowly curdles into something far more unsettling as their improvisations grow increasingly vivid and competitive. Scare Me is a chamber piece that turns the art of storytelling itself into the source of dread, blurring the line between fiction and the very real anxieties festering between its two leads.
