When a dangerous patient is accidentally released from a psychiatric facility due to a clerical computer error, a determined psychiatrist takes matters into her own hands — going undercover at a sorority house to hunt him down before the body count rises. Racing against both the killer and the institution desperate to bury its mistake, she finds herself caught between bureaucratic obstruction and a very real threat closing in around her. This lean 1984 slasher trades on procedural tension as much as straight-up carnage, giving its heroine more agency than the genre typically allowed.
