Sleep Has Her House is a near-wordless descent into primal darkness — an art-horror experience that treats extinction not as an event but as an ancient, inevitable force. Deep in a lightless wilderness, the last of something stirs, cries out, and is slowly swallowed by the shadows that have claimed everything before it. Director Scott Barley crafts the film almost entirely from darkness, texture, and sound, pushing cinema toward the threshold of pure sensation. This is less a narrative than a funeral rite rendered in moving image.
