The premise
Jim and his research team study the Canadian Lynx every year. This year, he has to take his rebelling 16 year-old daughter, Emmy, with him. But the lynx are missing. As Jim and his team try to find why, something stalks them--a predator no prey can escape.

A wildlife researcher's annual trip to the frozen Canadian wilderness takes a terrifying turn when the animals he's spent years studying simply vanish — and something far more dangerous moves in to fill the void. Dragged along against her will, his teenage daughter finds herself trapped between a fractured family dynamic and an apex predator that leaves no survivors. Snow Beast trades on the primal dread of wide-open, snowbound isolation where nowhere is safe and no one is coming to help.
