When a seemingly charming cousin arrives to stay with a close-knit family following a tragic accident, not everyone is convinced her intentions are innocent. Teenager Rachel watches helplessly as the newcomer weaves her way into the affections of everyone around her, leaving Rachel feeling isolated and doubted. A made-for-TV chiller driven by social dread and occult undertones, this 1979 film pairs Linda Blair with a memorably unsettling Lee Purcell in a battle of wills that grows darker by the scene.
