The premise
A young alien falls for a pretty teenage Earth girl and they team up to try to stop the plans of his invading cohorts, who intend to use Earth as a food-breeding ground for giant lobsters from their planet.

When a fleet of alien visitors sets its sights on Earth as a breeding ground for monstrous creatures from their world, one young member of the invading force begins to question everything he has been raised to believe. His growing bond with an Earth girl puts him at odds with his ruthless companions and forces a desperate race against time. Equal parts pulpy sci-fi and low-budget creature feature, this 1959 oddity captures the era's anxieties about outside threats and the courage of ordinary people. Vintage ray guns, skeletal terror, and an earnest romantic subplot make it a time-capsule relic of late-'50s genre filmmaking.
