The premise
After a herd of reindeer are mysteriously found dead following a meteor crash in a remote part of Lapland in northern Sweden, soldiers and a geologist are called out to investigate.

When a mysterious object crashes in the frozen wilderness of Lapland and local reindeer are found slaughtered, a geologist and a military unit venture into the snow-blanketed landscape to uncover the truth. What they discover proves to be far beyond anything they could have anticipated, threatening not just the remote region but potentially much more. Shot on location in the stark Scandinavian wilderness, this late-1950s creature feature blends alien menace with icy atmosphere.
