The fourth entry in Universal's iconic Frankenstein series brings the lumbering Monster back to life under the watch of a new Frankenstein heir and his morally compromised associates. Sinister schemes involving brain surgery and the promise of absolute power set the stage for a collision of science and madness. Bela Lugosi reprises his cunning Ygor, weaving manipulation through every corner of the plot, while Lon Chaney Jr. takes on the Monster's iconic bolts-and-platform-shoes role. Loyalties crumble and ambitions spiral out of control as the laboratory once again becomes a place of dread.
