The premise
1945. A U.S. military cargo plane loses control and violently crashes behind enemy lines in the middle of the German black forest. Major Johnson sends a squad of his bravest soldiers on a rescue mission to retrieve the top-secret material the plane was carrying, led by Sergeants Brewer and Walsh. They soon discover hanged Nazi soldiers and other dead bodies bearing ancient, magical symbols. Suddenly their compasses fail, their perceptions twist and straying from the group leads to profound horrors as they are attacked by a powerful, supernatural force.

In the dying days of World War II, a squad of American soldiers ventures deep into Germany's Black Forest to recover top-secret cargo from a downed military plane — only to find themselves hopelessly outmatched by something far older and deadlier than the enemy. Strange symbols carved into hanged bodies, failing compasses, and fractured perceptions signal that the forest holds a malevolent power the men were never trained to fight. WarHunt blends wartime grit with occult horror, pitting steel and bullets against forces that defy rational understanding. The Black Forest itself becomes as much an antagonist as anything that lurks within it.
