The premise
On Mayday 1998 in the town of Dunwich, Massachusetts, Elizabeth gathers together a group of specially selected friends for a rather odd party. It turns out that she is the descendent of a malevolent witch named Lilith who was burned at the stake precisely three hundred years ago. In the small Massachusetts town of Dunwich — a name that should set off alarm bells for any horror fan — a young woman invites a carefully handpicked circle of friends to a remote house for a May Day gathering with a very dark purpose. Her guests have no idea that their hostess carries a bloodline tied to a notorious witch burned three centuries ago, or that the anniversary of that execution is no coincidence. What begins as an odd social evening spirals into a desperate fight for survival as something ancient and malevolent threatens to claw its way back into the world. This late-90s low-budget chiller leans hard into its witchcraft mythology and isolated-house setup.
