A squad of Marines is dispatched to a remote island on what seems like a routine demolition mission, only to find themselves hunted by something far deadlier than unexploded ordnance. Cut off from backup and surrounded by open water, the soldiers must fight to survive an encounter with a merciless alien predator. Equal parts creature feature and military thriller, the film leans into its isolated setting to ratchet up a sense of inescapable dread.
