A group of American vacationers in the Caribbean signs up for a nighttime island tour, where they witness an eerie local voodoo ceremony. When their means of escape disappears and darkness closes in, the tourists begin dying one by one at the hands of forces they cannot see or understand. Part slasher-in-the-jungle and part exploitation thriller, the film leans hard into atmosphere and body count over coherent explanation. Fans of early-80s horror will find a grindhouse-flavored island nightmare that delivers on its promise of mayhem.
