Ed Edmunds of Distortions Unlimited and AJ Good of The House of Masks discuss the origin and history of the Zombie Beheaded puppet illusion, which famously served as the basis for Buckethead's iconic 'Herbie' stage prop. Ed originally sculpted the Zombie Beheaded in the late 1990s as part of a broader Beheaded series that also includes Fresh Beheaded, Corpse Beheaded, and Ratgirl. The line was discontinued at some point but was later relaunched due to ongoing demand from both Halloween enthusiasts and Buckethead fans. Distortions Unlimited sells the prop only in its original stock form and is not involved in any custom Herbie conversions.
