When a group of wealthy Beverly Hills oceanography students settle into a Malibu mansion for a field study, their privileged getaway quickly turns into a nightmare as members of the group begin vanishing under violent, inexplicable circumstances. The wounds point unmistakably to a shark — yet the ocean is half a mile away. As the body count rises and the threat closes in, the students must confront something that defies all rational explanation. Part creature feature, part slasher, this low-budget romp leans hard into its outrageous premise.
