The premise

Freddy Krueger returns once again to terrorize the dreams of the remaining Dream Warriors, as well as those of a young woman who may be able to defeat him for good.

Horror Vault's take

Freddy Krueger claws his way back into the dream world to finish off the survivors of the previous nightmare, but his reign of terror may have finally met its match. A young woman discovers she possesses a rare and mysterious connection to the dream realm that could tip the scales against Elm Street's most infamous monster. Blending inventive dream-sequence set pieces with franchise lore, The Dream Master pushes the series into increasingly stylized and visually ambitious territory. Fans of Freddy at his most theatrical will find plenty to sink their teeth into here.
