The premise

Set in 1960s Manhattan, Apartment 7A follows a young dancer whose desperate hunger for stardom leads her into the orbit of a charming but deeply unsettling couple with powerful connections. What begins as an unexpected stroke of luck gradually reveals itself to be something far more sinister lurking beneath the glamour of New York high society. The film builds its dread through creeping paranoia and an atmosphere of suffocating control, keeping its protagonist — and the viewer — perpetually off-balance.
