The premise

An archivist takes a job restoring damaged videotapes and gets pulled into the vortex of a mystery involving the missing director and a demonic cult.

Horror Vault's take

When a reclusive archivist is hired by a shadowy organization to restore a collection of damaged VHS tapes, he becomes dangerously fixated on the woman who filmed them — and the dark secrets her footage captured inside a crumbling apartment building. The deeper he digs into the tapes, the more the boundary between observer and participant begins to dissolve. What started as a preservation job spirals into a labyrinthine nightmare involving a fanatical cult, paranormal forces, and a mystery that may have no safe way out.
