The premise
A group of Delta Force soldiers, accompanied by a CIA agent, are sent to the Belzan forest in Chechnya in search of a rogue American weapons researcher, Dr. Benton Walsh. As they search for Walsh's camp, they are attacked by genetically-altered carnivorous bats. The survivors attempt to reach helicopter extraction but encounter various challenges, including Chechen rebels.
Horror Vault's take
When an elite Delta Force unit is dispatched deep into the Chechen wilderness to hunt down a missing American weapons scientist, they stumble into something far deadlier than any human enemy. A swarm of genetically engineered carnivorous bats turns the dense forest into a killing ground, and extraction suddenly feels very far away. Caught between hostile rebel forces and relentless airborne predators, the soldiers must fight on two fronts just to stay alive. It's a straight-to-video creature feature that leans hard into military grit and b-movie monster mayhem.
