The premise
Middle-aged newlyweds Larry & Barbara spend their honeymoon at a palatial Filipino mansion, unaware that it is inhabited by the vengeful spirit of a notorious voodoo witch queen who was murdered a century ago. The woman's evil spirit promptly begins precipitating a variety of violent deaths in accordance with a diabolical ritual intended to bring her back to life -a process which is ultimately consummated by taking possession of Barbara's body.

A newlywed couple retreats to a grand, isolated mansion in the Philippines for their honeymoon, only to discover the estate harbours a dark and violent history tied to a voodoo witch queen executed a century before. Ancient evil stirs within the walls, and the bride soon finds herself at the centre of a terrifying supernatural ritual with deadly consequences for everyone around her. John Saxon and Lynda Day George anchor this late-70s-flavoured possession chiller that leans into atmosphere and exotic locale as much as outright scares. Fans of haunted-house horror with a voodoo twist will find plenty to unsettle them here.
